Organic Trevarno Skincare

This week I received a lovely surprise from Organic Trevarno Skincare.

Organic Trevarno Skincare is a company based in Cornwall using both high quality and organic ingredients, ensuring that 95% of those ingredients in their skincare formulations are organic- pretty good going if you ask me! They even pride themselves on the ability to trace all ingredients back to the original source, something that I love. For me, this makes products even more attractive. Nowadays we put so many chemicals on our skin without even realising and have very little or no knowledge about them. But that doesn't even need to be a consideration when buying Trevarno Skincare products as you can trust that their ingredients are natural and organic. Their soap range is perfect for vegetarians as are made without animal fat and many soaps are vegan too!

I received a beautifully packaged parcel with a lovely little note, containing both a natural homemade soap and a lip balm.

The Natural Rose, Orange & Patchouli Soap smells divine! What's patchouli I here you say? I had to research it myself and it turns out it's a plant in the mint family bearing light pink flowers. So the gorgeous fragrance of the soap comes from the patchouli and the sweet orange essential oils. The soap also contains cocoa butter, rose and rosehip shells which helps to leave skin feeling smooth and pure, as any impurities will have been removed from the skin.

I used it out in the shower on my body, but it can also be used on the hands and face. This soap is great for dry and ageing skin....hopefully I don't need to worry about the ageing part just yet, but I do suffer from dry skin. So for me it's a perfect soap to ensure my skin is left feeling moisturised and nourished. And it did just that!

So I would definitely recommend...perfect as a gift or for a little treat for yourself...why not?

The lip balm I received is so cute in its little pot! It is a perfect size for popping in your handbag or again would make a great gift. Not only does it look 'cute' but it really does work well! I always seem to be wearing a Mac matt lipstick which can leave my lips feeling dry and cracked. Inbetween applying my lipstick I've been using a layer of this organic lip balm and it does work a treat. It easily absorbs into my lips without them feeling too greasy. Again, all natural ingredients including beeswax and olive oil, infused with both comfrey and calendula.
