Rose Gold and Silver...♡

I have recently been lucky enough to purchase an Abbott & Lyon watch in silver and rose gold....I am in L.O.V. E !

I've been wanting a new watch for a while and in particular a rose gold watch, just because I love the colour. The only issue I had with purchasing a rose gold watch was that most of the jewellery I own is silver (well, mainly my growing collection of Pandora rings) so I was worried the rose gold watch with my silver rings would clash.

When browsing their website, as you do, I came across their Silver Chain Stellar 40 (Rose Gold) watch. Because this watch is both silver and rose gold, I thought this would go perfectly with my pandora rings and so I took the plunge.....

When it arrived it came in a box within a box. I was slightly concerned for a second how large the watch was that I had ordered, but soon realised it was just very lavish packaging which adds to the quality feel of the watch. The face of the watch is rose gold in colour and the strap, silver. Just what I had been looking for. Perfect! 

I was really happy to find that the watch also comes with a one year warranty, which didn't help me make my decision in the first place, but is just an extra added bonus, ideal.

Other extras on the watch I had never considered a necessity before until purchasing this one is an adjustable strap and also the date. An adjustable strap is so handy and I could adjust (well, my boyfriend could adjust) the strap until the perfect fit (things like that are just a man's job. Too complicated for me to work out!) making the comfort of the watch so much better than watches I've had previously. And for me, having a small window on the watch which shows the digit/s of what date it is, is really useful for me. Working in education I am always asking around what the date is when completing paperwork and I'm sure the students get annoyed with me because it's something I should know....but that's not a problem any more.
